Appeal for Information and CCTV Footage – Anti-Social Behaviour in Great Boughton

Cheshire Police are appealing for information following a number of reports of anti-social behaviour in the Great Boughton area over the past few weeks.

We have received several reports of groups of youths, believed to be wearing school uniforms, engaging in persistent "knock and run" incidents at residential properties. Incidents have been reported on Lancaster Drive, Barkhill Road and Buckingham Avenue.

Whilst some may view this as a prank, the behaviour has escalated and is causing significant distress, fear and upset to local residents. In one reported incident, a front door was allegedly kicked, causing damage to the property.

We are keen to identify those responsible and would ask residents to check any CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcam footage that may assist our enquiries, particularly during the after-school period and early evening hours.

Parents and guardians are also encouraged to speak with their children regarding respectful behaviour within the community. Officers will be following up all lines of enquiry and will be visiting the parents of any youths identified as being involved.
